NEW DELHI: The “largest college students group in Bangladesh” has been regrouping by social media and dealing to revive a democratic system within the nation by ousting the present undemocratic regime, Chhatra League president Saddam Hussain instructed TOI on Saturday from an undisclosed location. He has been in hiding because the Awami League’s scholar wing, based by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in 1948, was banned by the interim govt beneath Muhammad Yunus on Oct 23.
Of their first response to the ban on Chhatra League (CL), 90 lakh individuals modified their profile footage on Fb to the CL image, Hussain stated, including that the quantity was “very encouraging for us”. “Social media is the one method that we’re in a position to join and keep collectively and plan our strikes,” Hussain stated.
Hussain additional stated, “Because the Sheikh Hasina-led Awami League regime punished conflict criminals (Bangladesh’s Warfare of Liberation), they (the current regime) is making an attempt to take revenge.” Based on the CL chief, over a lakh college students are unable to proceed their research in schools and universities throughout Bangladesh. “They’re being overwhelmed up whereas making an attempt to attend lessons”.
