New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones can not seem to overcome the turnover bug.
On a 1st-and-10 at Washington’s 29-yard line early within the first quarter Sunday, Jones crumbled beneath stress and fumbled. Commanders linebacker Bobby Wagner recovered the unfastened ball, which rolled deep into Giants’ territory.
Though it appeared Jones was throwing the ball away, Washington head coach Dan Quinn challenged the play, and on the spot replay confirmed the QB’s arm wasn’t shifting ahead.
