Famend folks singer Sharda Sinha passes away battling most cancers

Famend singer and Bihar’s folks icon Sharda Sinha has handed away on the age of 72. She has been battling with a number of myeloma which is a sort of blood most cancers since 2018. She was admitted to AIIMS hospital in New Delhi the place she breathed her final on November 5. Her son Anshuman confirmed the information on social media. He shared her photograph and wrote, “Your prayers and love will at all times be with mom. Mom has been known as by Chhathi Maiya. She is not with us in bodily kind.”

Sharda Sinha was often called the ‘Bihar Kokila’ for her melodious voice. She acquired the Padma Shri Award in 1991 for her contribution to music. She was additionally honoured with the Padma Bhushan in 2018.

She has sung over 60 Chhath songs in her musical profession. Such was her cultural affect that Chhath Puja was stated to be incomplete with out her songs taking part in within the background.
