Sony Music Publishing has promoted Nasra Artan to Head of Worldwide A&R, efficient instantly.
As Head of Worldwide A&R, Artan will tackle a broader position in spearheading SMP’s worldwide inventive technique.
Based on an announcement from SMP, Artan can be accountable for liaising throughout SMP’s A&R groups to “strengthen inner capabilities, foster innovation, and drive international collaboration initiatives on behalf of the corporate’s songwriter roster”.
She is going to proceed to be primarily based out of London and can report back to SMP’s President, Worldwide Man Henderson.
Nasra Artan first joined the corporate in 2022 as European A&R Supervisor.
Since then, based on SMP, she has continued to drive success on behalf of Sony Music Publishing’s roster, “reaching key new signings and fostering collaboration efforts” together with the ‘SMP x BeatStars Hitmaker Week’ international songwriting camp.
Previous to becoming a member of the corporate, Artan spent three years at Warner Music Norway, most not too long ago as A&R Challenge Supervisor.
